Air:
With international and domestic air terminals,
Jinnah International Airport is about 10km east of
the city centre. Various domestic and leading international
airlines fly in and out of Karachi.
Train:
The city has two main train stations - City
Railway Station and Cantonment Railway Station - with
almost same number of trains originating from each-
connecting Karachi with all major cities within the
country.
Road:
There is a growing number of private bus and
car rental services in Karachi, with regular services
to Lahore, Larkana and Multan among other prime destinations
within the nation.
Places of Tourist Interest:
Karachi has a medley of interesting things to see,
explored best on week-days as they can attract a throng
of people on weekends. Historic monuments like Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum, National
Museum of Pakistan, Maritime Museum, Pakistan Airforce
Museum are for the historically inclined. Tombs and
monuments of Sufi saints like Abdullah Shah Ghazi,

Weather:
The most pleasant time to visit Karachi is from November
to mid-February. The summer temperature ranges from
about 27 degrees to 50 degrees. In winter, the nights
can be surprisingly cool.
